Nurturing Talent: Student Program

The Entre Nous Event Management Program(ENEMP) ensures that students are equipped with the knowledge, tools and experience, enabling them to get hired by renowned event companies, or even instilling the confidence in them to launch their own start-up!

With an objective to spike professional growth and readiness in students to meet any industry requirement, students are navigated through hands-on learning, supplemented by meaningful and interactive sessions on theory. The small session headcount enables each student to be personally guided through the sessions.

The course duration of 6 months is sectioned into 3 months of theory, practical events and mock sessions; and the balance 3 months is paid internship, enabling students to ‘earn while they learn’.

Course Duration:
6 months (3 months theory, practical events and mock sessions + 3 months paid internship)

2 hour sessions, 2 days a week

Learn the importance of different types of events and unique handling of each: Celebrity / Fashion, Corporate, Wedding / Anniversaries, Fundraising, Festivals, Intellectual properties, etc.

Event Marketing

Generate and implement a business plan, develop tactical skills, craft experiential marketing ideas, brush up your PR skills, apply post-event analysis and measure successful strategies.

Social Media Marketing

Learn and explore how to effectively use and manage different social media platforms, to endorse an event and/ or your business.

Entrepreurship

Prepare yourself to launch your own start up. Know the nitty-gritties’ of setting up your own business in the event industry. Discover the pros,cons and formalities required for an event startup.

Co-ordination

Develop the skills of negotiating, managing, executing, and supervising events. Learn the knack of coordinating between your team, service providers and clients.

Budgeting & Documentation

Learn to build an event budget. Get rare insights into managing the budget, for a successful
and profitable event.

Event Creativity - The ‘WOW’ Effect

Learn how to ideate, develop and deliver a great idea to specific events. Get familiar with the method of adding ‘WOW’ factors to your event.

Production

Learn how to become an event producer by keeping a tab on all event elements and generating
specific back-up options. Learn the art of interacting at all levels to produce your dream event.

Managing Risk

Understand and evaluate the risk involved for all stakeholders in your event. Learn to be a crisis manager and tackle last minute surprise elements. Get an understanding of the legalities involved.

Industry Interaction

Get latest updates on industry developments from top-of-the-line guest faculty, enriching you with up-to-date information related to light, sound, sets, decor and much more.

Communication Skills

Fine-tune your communication skills to sell concepts and services to potential clients. Practice the art of communication and etiquette, to create the right first impression.

Presentation Skills

Get hands-on experience and personal guidance to become a confident event professional. Learn the technical skills required for staying organized and managing data.

Entreprenurship

Groom yourself to launch your own start-up. Know the ‘nitty-gritties’. Discover the pros & cons and formalities.

Mocks & Evaluation

Breaking the mould, the program does not include any examination. Students are put through mock situations wherein assessment of understanding is by evaluation.

Assignment

Develop a concept based on the client brief, understand the event venue, pitch the concept to the client, receive feedback from the business manager, prepare a budget, execute, etc.
